Access Revoked

The senior PM sings her own 90-minute offboarding — badge beeped red, calendar cleared, succulents packed. Indie pop built from calendar invites, Slack DMs, and HR boilerplate.

She had thirty-two product launches on her record and a succulents plant she'd been meaning to re-pot for three years. On the morning it happened, she deleted herself from every recurring meeting — methodically, almost peacefully — and wrote an out-of-office reply that read I am no longer here. I left the room. That sentence was the truest thing she'd written at work in years.
「Access Revoked」is a first-person song from that 90-minute window: badge returned by noon, severance details arriving Friday, the hallway still smelling exactly the way it always did at six-fifteen. It's built from the actual language her departure generated — calendar blocks, Slack DMs, HR policy phrases — and finds in all that bureaucratic beige something closer to a love song than an ending. She isn't angry. She's just taking one more minute in the hall before she goes.
